The Italian Label was born out of a shared passion for wine, Italian beverages and helping businesses grow. Co-founded by Luca Cinque, a WSET certified wine-lover from Positano, Italy, and Meryem Berrada a B.S, MBA from New York City. They met in Positano and combined their strengths to build a business that connects small-medium Italian beverage producers with new and exciting markets.
Luca, as our CEO and wine expert, focuses on the curation of our wine catalogue and ensuring we represent the finest small wineries and breweries in Italy. He works directly with our producers and potential clients, fostering cooperative relationships and growth opportunities.
Meryem, our Chief of Operations and Expansion, keeps the business running smoothly on the daily and dedicates her time to market-based research. She finds your new potential clients in any region you want to operate in.
The Italian Label was launched in Positano, where it helped introduce smaller, niche brands to a highly sought after, luxury market. We’ve since expanded operations to include Poland, a new and interesting emerging wine market we’re passionate about exploring. We are rapidly expanding our regions of operations to include a variety of luxury, established, and emerging markets.
Our team is led and managed by forward-thinking, passionate small business owners. We understand our clients, because we can relate. Our mission is two-fold: to empower small businesses to expand operations into new regions, while introducing the HORECA sector to an array of unique, independent wines and craft beers, and helping both feel supported in their expansion.
